1st fairway 1st view of green
Dogleg left, best played straight down the middle to avoid wood on the left. If you carry the roadway an 8 iron should suffice, but if the drive is played out right for safety, the second shot could be a tricky long iron to an elevated green.

2nd fairway 2nd green
Drive to the right side of the fairway to avoid the bunker, then the shot for most players is a mid iron laid up short of the ditch in front of the green. An accurate pitch gives you a chance of a par. If you're a big hitter, have a go with a fairway wood, but if it isn't perfect, the penalty could be severe.

3rd from tee
Drive over heavy rough from an elevated tee ( after a pause to admire the view and catch your breath ), and an accurate wedge should give you the chance of a birdie. If a stiff westerly is blowing, the carry from the tee can look intimidating.

4th fairway 4th green
Dog leg left. If the drive is long and placed well to the right edge of the fairway, you should get a sight of the green. A long iron or a fairway wood should see you home, but a par will feel like a birdie.

5th from tee 5th to green
5th green
Another dogleg left, but this time accuracy is more important than length. A drive over the edge of the rocks will leave you with a short iron to the green, but the more cautious will play a long iron off the tee. Be sure to leave your approach below the hole, as an overhit approach can result in a lost ball, and a downhill put from the back of this green will need to be perfect or three puts will surely be the result.

6th from tee
A long and testing Par 3. Most golfers will require a wood from the tee, and bunkers protect the green on both sides.

7th from tee
At last a straight hole, but this time beware the boundary wall which runs the full length down the left side. If the prevailing wind is blowing, two mighty blows will be required to get close to the green, and most will require a single put to score par.

8th from tee
It looks a straightforward Par 3, but the green is well protected, and depending on the wind, anything from a 6 iron to a wood may be required.

9th from tee 9th green
A good straight drive makes this a birdie possibility, but beware the bunker down the left side, and the bunkers either side of the green - they are deeper than they look.
